[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recent convert to cordless lawn equipment. Greenworks highly rated across a variety of testing sites. Frustration with my gas trimmer finally pushed me over the edge. Sting trimmer was my first purchase and it's been great. It also can accept the pole pruner chain saw that I already have. Looking forward to acquiring the leaf blower and the 16" chainsaw.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Effective, Powerful

Not up to standards

I bought the 40 volt 16 inch trimmer which I do not see for sale now. It was a piece of garbage due to a poor design and very uncomfortable to use. They took my money but would not return my concerns.

Proper ergonomics when holding a string trimmer can improve comfort and cut quality. Here are some tips for holding a string trimmer:
Posture: Keep the arm holding the front handle straight, while slightly bending the hand on the rear handle. This will keep the trimmer head parallel to the ground, which gives the string the most cutting contact area.
Level: Hold the trimmer level.
Angle: When trimming against a hard surface, be flush with it. Holding the trimmer too high or at too shallow an angle can result in uneven or ineffective cuts.
Adjusting the handle can also provide a better balance, this will help evenly distribute the weight between the battery and the base and should hopefully assist in a more enjoyable user experience.

no pull start required

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No pull start required! The convenience of putting in a battery and pulling the trigger is so worth changing over to electric. Even in low-speed trimmer has more than enough power to tackle any weeds, especially with a blade head
