Great value and features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received today and tried it out. I'm impressed with the speed control and how easy it is to insert new line. Also the larger line size is a plus, compared to my old unit which went through a lot of line.

Bought yesterday...in use today actually 17-inch trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took out of box and assembled with minimal effort (most of the trimmer was pre-assembled from the box). Charged battery the previous evening. First time owning battery powered equipment, trimmer seems well balanced when battery is installed. Very early spring, minimal weeds and grass but left over from last fall. I used low (1) setting most of tine some high (2) in use for 26 minutes, battery indicated 2 green lights so maybe 40-50% charge left, so maybe another 15-20 min. left maybe more? Runs smooth bump line worked as expected similar to gas trimmers. First day -so far so good!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lightweight and powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far we have been cutting wet weeds with this string trimmer. It is doing a much better job than I expected and my gas weed eater will be kept only as a backup. This has so much power and the run time with even the smaller battery is pretty decent. I'll be investing in some larger ah batteries soon to extend run time. Great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new string trimmer 80v pro is very dependable and delivers all the power needed for my size lawn and does not need to be recharged before finishing the entire lawn area. The assembly was explained clearly as well as the booklets that came with this product., I am looking foward to adding other Greenworkks tools to my collection.
