[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this string trimmer a couple months ago and it is so nice not to have to struggle to try to start a tool. It is heavier but with the shoulder strap it makes it much easier to handle. The battery almost out lasted me. 🤣🤣 The only drawback is I couldn’t cut as close to the ground as I wanted to but it’s good enough.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this as a Father's Day gift. Can't wait to try it out. Hoping it's as good as my 80V Greenworks mower I bought in April.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to replace several low voltage cheap trimmers and a 40cc gas trimmer. The cost of buying gas and oil and spark plugs and air filters plus the inconsistent performance of the gas trimmer combined with the ease of use of the lower voltage cordless string. Trimmers pushed me to try one of these 80 V electric trimmers. I sold all of my other ones and love this green works trimmer. Since then I have purchased a green works blower and now a chainsaw. I’m hoping their battery form factor does not change. I had purchased a blower and another chainsaw from a different manufacturer with a very good reputation. Found that they changed their battery form factor shortly after I purchased. Now they no longer support the old battery.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great weed eater and hedge trimmer attachment! Easy to use with plenty of power! I had one before I used for about 8 years. That’s why I purchased another Greenworks product! Great quality! I use it for my house and 2rental properties!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 16” wire trimmer in 2023. My thought was I’d switch to electric since there’s less maintenance and moving parts so the life should be longer than my gas powered one. I was wrong, I only got two summers of use plus this season I’ve used it three times and now the electric motor has seized up. Very disappointing, US product and with light use in a very small yard it didn’t last very long at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No matter what quality of string I buy it always cuts off. I’m thinking maybe the voltage might be too high for a string trimmer. They need to invent a steel blade attachment

Hello Feesor. It is frustrating when your trimmer line keeps breaking, even if you are using high-quality line. Here are some common reasons why this happens and what you can do. 1. Over-winding can strain the string, while under-winding can cause tangling and premature breaks. 2. Make sure you thread the string in the correct direction indicated by the trimmer head. 3. Avoid overfilling the spool, which can cause binding and breakage.
Tips: Follow your trimmer's specific guidelines for installing the line and test the feeding mechanism after installation. By considering these points, you can reduce trimmer line breakage and achieve more efficient trimming.
