[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just tried it for the first time and I am amazed at how strong this edger is. No hesitation through thick crab grass. I was hesitant about trying because I've had gas edgers my whole life and in California, you cannot buy gas lawn equipment any more. So glad I purchased this edger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Barely enough torque to do the job if over grown. After 1st use does ok. All parts are plastic, was not expeting lower guard to be plastic. 80v 4.0ah battery makes unit heavy and unbalanced. Smaller battery will give more control and less of a chor to handle.

Making multiple shallow passes can improve results and reduce strain on the tool.
Regarding balance and handling, the 80V 4.0Ah battery does add runtime but can shift the weight distribution. Using a lower-capacity battery, such as a 2.0Ah pack, is a good approach for improving control and reducing fatigue during shorter jobs.
For durability and performance, ensuring the blade depth is properly adjusted and keeping the edge line clear of large debris or thick overgrowth before use can also help the unit operate more efficiently and minimize stress on components.
