This edger has a strong battery and motor that powered through my rough edges. After a year of borrowing an electric edger, Greenworks has made the job easy. And….. no cord to drag around.

I have a larger horseshoe driveway and curved sidewalk that hadn’t been edged in several years. This edger cut through the overgrowth of grass and sod without any issues and easily followed the line for a nice clean cut. All of the power of gas, but none of the smell, vibration or irritation of pulling a cord. Was able to edge all of the driveway on a single 4.0 amh charge.

Very quiet and Safe for using. It has a built in trigger to push before actuating the blade to spin. After finishing the lawn, I cleaned the edges of the driveway. Nice and quiet with a very durable blade.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
