[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tends to trail off to the right, but I just received it and I am sure that it is my lack of experience with the tool rather than any kind of flaw.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered a 60 Volt Brushless Edger and you sent me a 80 Volt one. I did not have a battier for this one, so I had to send it back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was not as easily controllable with the one wheel. I had a hard time keeping it straight on the overgrown edges.
I suppose if you only have delicate grass and loose soil, this tool might work for you. But it doesn't work at all of you have harder soil and weeds or thick roots. Only used it a few times, and I'll go back to using my trimmer, as this thing is useless.

Hello AnnH. We are sorry to hear the unit has not met your needs. This edger is used to trim and cut around the edge of driveways, side walks and more. The edger is not meant to be used to cut hedges, shrubs, bushes, or flowers. We would like to get in touch to ensure that your tool is operating up to our performance standards. Please reach out to our Customer Support Live chat on www.greenworkstools.com or call 1-888-909-6757. We would like the opportunity to speak with you to see if we can find a solution.
This thing is a joy to use. Just as much power as a gas edger attachment, much less noisy. It is a massive upgrade over the electric one that I was using. Edging was a chore I hated and thus was done rarely. Dealing with the cord and having to make several passes was dreadful. This tool makes the job fast, simple and easy. It pairs well with the 80v blower for cleanup. Depending on yard size, you can likely get through both tasks on one battery. But I'm glad I got another battery with this to help keep the blower going when the leaves come down this fall. Well done Greenworks!
I'm 5'2", a woman, medium strength and this thing while manageable w/some brute force is way, way too heavy. I have to keep the thing propped under my arm for extra support. Why they wouldn't put the battery closer to the base for an edger is beyond me. HOWEVER it is powerful, will edge your lawn with ease and you'll have plenty of charge left in your battery. This thing easily edged my Bermuda grass after a long winter (better than my 12 amp corded edger).

Hello Kim100,
Thank you for the honest feedback! for the best control and balance, ensure that you hold the edger by both the switch handle and the auxiliary handle. Stand with the cutting head tipped down at an angle in front, guiding the grass edger along the grass line. It's worth noting , you can set the position of the handle as you like to achieve the right balance (you just loosen the screw and slide it up or down). Hope these suggestion help make using the string trimmer a more enjoyable experience.
