Second edger I have bought. First one was a corded one and was hard to deal with. After buying greenworks this is the right choice to buy. Light,lasted long enough to get job done with battery charge, and easy to operate.

Went from corded to this 80v- cuts through the grass like butter, now what used to take 30 minutes takes 5 minutes.?

Powerful, greater edger but too heavy

I'm 5'2", a woman, medium strength and this thing while manageable w/some brute force is way, way too heavy. I have to keep the thing propped under my arm for extra support. Why they wouldn't put the battery closer to the base for an edger is beyond me. HOWEVER it is powerful, will edge your lawn with ease and you'll have plenty of charge left in your battery. This thing easily edged my Bermuda grass after a long winter (better than my 12 amp corded edger).
Pros: Convenient, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for the honest feedback! for the best control and balance, ensure that you hold the edger by both the switch handle and the auxiliary handle. Stand with the cutting head tipped down at an angle in front, guiding the grass edger along the grass line. It's worth noting , you can set the position of the handle as you like to achieve the right balance (you just loosen the screw and slide it up or down). Hope these suggestion help make using the string trimmer a more enjoyable experience.

Another solid product. Does roughly what you would expect of an edger, relatively easy to use. Unknown yet how long the blade will last, but appears to be easily replaceable.
