[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought that this was a more powerful and long lasting battery, but it's not. The battery dies after 30 to 40 minutes of use for my lawn with is about .05
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The run time varies depending on the tool that it is being used in but also the load acting against the unit while in use. For reference, the difference between the amp hour (Ah) is runtime. The higher the Ah (amp hour) the more runtime a battery will provide. Yes, you could use a 2.0Ah batteries instead, just note that 2.0Ah battery yield a shorter run time of about 20-30 minutes in a mower.
Larger amp hour batteries in the Greenworks 60v line but are essentials for larger tools like the mowers for optimal runtime. Terrible operating time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this in April have used probably a dozen times. Originally it would last about 17 minute, which already wasn't great. Just came in from most recent mow and it ran for a total of 6 minutes. I'd be better off buying generic batteries. Not at all worth the upcharge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had a corded edger previously, qas annoying dragging around the cord all over the yard. Threw it away and thanked the heavens.
