I bought this second battery because it was c. 1/2 the cost of the battery on other sites. Now I have two to put into my mower and can mow my entire yard in an hour and 40 minutes; whereas, I was mowing it in two sessions of 1 hour each!!

I bought this and it won't work. I emailed the warranty department and never heard from them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Power without fumes or a tether

When my 20+ year old gas powered beast of an edger finally gave up the ghost, I decided to replace it with a rechargeable Greenworks tool. The new one stores in a fraction of the footprint, is far more maneuverable and blasts through the grass with no hesitation. And, I no longer have to store or transport explosive, stinky gasoline or make special trips to buy ethanol free fuel.

This unit PLEASANTLY surprised me by the amount of time it can be in operation and the amount of torque and power it has with only the 60V/2 Amp battery! Adjustment height is fast and easy and I soon gained operation skills so I didn't grind the blade on the concrete!

Great addition to my green works mower weed eater and blower. New battery is so lightweight to batteries only a year old! Edger is outstanding and have lent it to neighbors to complete tasks quicker and more efficiently. Only mistake I made was not ordering g more blades because I use it so much

I bought a pair of these 5 AH HC batteries for use with my Greenworks 25-inch mower. Charges quickly and lasts for more than 75 minutes per battery under medium-duty mowing conditions. Provides excellent power for mowing thick grass.
