Using a battery run mower is the smart way to help our planet. Our Greeworks mower does a great job mulching and with self propelled drive/speeds, the work is done easily and quickly. With two batteries there is no need to stop and recharge. In my 70’s, I find it’s a great way to exercise safely at the speed that’s right for me. Here in Va. Beach, our mowing season can run from late March to October…that’s a lot of mowing!
I have a larger than average lawn and I would run out of battery right before finishing. I now mow with both batteries and I get through the entire yard and still have juice. This purchase makes my yard work so much better!
My first battery doesn’t run very long anymore, so I finally had enough and got this one. Very glad I did because now I can mow again in one go instead of having to recharge several times. I just hope this one will last longer; it comes with 4 years of warranty, but that doesn’t mean much if support never answers your inquiries.
The batteries lasted longer than I expected, the only issue is when the grass is too high that will cause the lawn mower to stop causing the batteries to deplete sooner.
I bought this as my second battery to rotate, as with my original, I would run out of charge midway through my backyard. We have a pretty small front yard, and a medium back, with no appreciable sides. My first battery is the 4.0 version and it has done very well. But with the 5.0 I am able to do the entire yard in one pass, and have time for other things without waiting for a charge.
We have 5 acres with a lot of mowing area. My wife asked for an additional battery for our Greenworks 21 inch mower. I chose this Pro 60V 6.0 Ah UltraPower Battery. The first day she reported that it lasted twice as long as our other two batteries and she was thrilled with the run time. Everything we've purchased from Greenworks - the mower, backpack blower, and 16in chainsaw have worked beautifully, especially without wasting lots of time messing with gas, oil, sparkplugs, and aggravation.
