I have a large yard, with lawn, large trees and lots of leaves in the fall. I love all the batteries. The 5.0 I use when I set out to blow the leaves as I can cover so much more territory before changing batteries. I like the smaller sized 2.0- 2.5 battery when using the hedgers and holding the tool above my head because it's lighter. I would recommend for a large yard, lawn mowing and blowing to use a 5.0. But if you are short like I am 5' 2" possibly have 2 lighter weight batteries like a 2.0-2.5 for hedging bushes and trees so your arms can trim longer. Yes, the smaller size gives you 20-30 min, and the 5.0 much more. Just realize, there is a nice choice of batteries for the size and weight for your project. I can use the 5.0 with my trimmer and hedger, but if they are taller jobs, I am much happier with a lighter battery for those projects. When fall comes and my oak/maples start dropping their leaves...I want 5.0 batteries for the longer heavier project with my blower.
