Expensive 60v 4Ah

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an expensive battery, but I need to get a second one to keep up with mowing the lawn. Rainy weather means I have to mow long wet grass opportunistically.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Full kits including a tool, battery, and charger are priced affordably so that consumers can begin building that line of tools and move forward purchasing tool-only units. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 5 Ah battery that lasts about 45 minutes. My yard takes about an hour to mow, so I could mow the front yard or the back yard but would have to stop to recharge and then continue or risk having a discharged battery with only a small patch of grass left to mow. This 2.0 battery gives me the extra 15 minutes I need to mow both in an hour! Would have been nice if there was just a wee bit more juice in this smaller battery, just for days when the going is a bit tough, but every little bit helps.

Lasts longer than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a supplemental battery to complement the one that came with my wheeled trimmer. It extends the run time of the unit from "I trimmed most of the property" all the way to "I'm tired and want to quit for the day, but there's still a little more battery life." Impressive. And it charges quickly enough that I could tire myself out in the morning, recharge, and then tire myself out in the afternoon, too.

Went bad after about a year

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lasted a little over a year before it went bad and wouldn't charge. This doesn't get used in the winter and this summer I had a service so it didn't get used at all. I stored it on the shelf in the garage so it wasn't exposed to excessive heat or cold. I store it out of the mower and off of the charger.
unfortunately when I went to use it today it was bad. my second battery now lasts about 1/2 of what it did in the spring.
It works ok for a lawn mower, but now I can only get through about 1/2 of my 10k sq. ft. of mowing before it runs out of juice.
