Battery came with one of my 5 tools i purchased but it seems not to handle my leaf blower very well. The 5.0 Amh battery i have seems to work well and is useful on every tool i currently have. The 4.0Amh has also demonstrated charging issues and seems to cut in and out on occasion but is workable for me since i have the 5.0Amh. Good Tools though only wish 5.0Amh batteries would have come with all my tools. I have 60V Lawnmower, leaf blower, Hedger, Chainsaw, Weed-eater and Power Washer. Recomend tools and 5.0amh battery but not the 2.0amh
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello gbob9657,
Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to read that overall, you have been enjoying the 60v platform. Your run time sounds average when using this battery with the blower. While this product does have capabilities of running up to 45 minutes, this is essentially at a very low speed. When used at high speed, approximately 20 minutes in this blower is an average run time for the supplied 2.5Ah battery as this unit does draw quite a bit of power on high. The run time can be extended by using the product at a lower speed when higher speeds are not necessary. Blowers are considered a high-power draw application. Additional batteries can be purchased to extend the run time. This unit is compatible with all Greenworks 60V batteries. The higher the ampere-hour (AH) rating is, the longer the run time will be. Currently out of stock on many of 60V batteries, as we have some delays due to the current pandemic (Covid-19) however, we are expecting them to come in soon. They can be viewed using the following shared link https://www.greenworkstools.com/shop-by-voltage?cat=49. In the meantime, you may enter your email into the appropriate field on the battery page(s) so that you can be notified as soon as the stock has been replenished.
I recently started transitioning to electric tools for property maintenance and my first purchase was a 60v Backpack Leaf blower. This was an experimental purchase and I bought a 60v 6.0ah battery to test it out. First, I was surprised by the air output of the leaf blower and the absence of vibration that is a hallmark of gas-powered tools. As I worked wet leaves into piles and kept moving to the next task, I tracked my time. The first round lasted about 50 minutes using turbo power sparingly and a half-acre was done. After a 60 minute charge on the Greenworks rapid charger I was back out to test how long the battery could support turbo mode. I clocked approximately 40 minutes of turbo time before having to recharge the battery. The 60v 6.0ah battery is worth every penny to me and I will likely purchase another one as I consider the next gas-powered tool that I can replace with a GreenWorks product
