Tool ok, battery drains too fast

Purchased a leaf blower. Satisfied with tool. Somewhat dissatisfied with length of charge on the battery. Seems to last only 10-15 min on full charge. I thought it would last longer.
Pros: Easy to Use, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful

Old and In the Way

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the 60V 2.5Ah UltraPower Battery & Charger Combo Kit. Batteries are 3 years old! I was told that “use” is what matters but lithium batteries do get old regardless of use.

Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns. In some cases, battery date stamp will vary; please note, these are not sell-by dates or expiration dates. If batteries expired within a couple of months of manufacture, they'd be useless for their intended purpose. Getting a battery that's been manufactured in the same month you bought it would be unlikely, rest assured, that the battery life will not be affected, and the warranty begins on the purchase date. Went bad after about a year

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lasted a little over a year before it went bad and wouldn't charge. This doesn't get used in the winter and this summer I had a service so it didn't get used at all. I stored it on the shelf in the garage so it wasn't exposed to excessive heat or cold. I store it out of the mower and off of the charger.
unfortunately when I went to use it today it was bad. my second battery now lasts about 1/2 of what it did in the spring.
It works ok for a lawn mower, but now I can only get through about 1/2 of my 10k sq. ft. of mowing before it runs out of juice.
