This battery is used in my 25" 60V mower and it last pretty long. I have 5 batteries of which 2 are 5.0Ah; 2 are 4.0Ah; and one is 2.5Ah. I use them in my trimmer, blower and motor and I never run out of battery.
Very disappointed in this battery. I love my Green works lawnmower but found it's original battery didn't always have enough juice to cut my entire lawn. It gave out after 30 minutes or so. But the new battery only lasts 15 minutes on a full charge. It hardly seems worth the purchase price. I'm disappointed because the new battery does not seem to be the same high quality I've come to expect from Greenworks.

Hello L James,
Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns. Happy to hear you are loving your lawn mower! With most tools, 15 minutes when using a 2.0Ah battery is an average run time. The run time varies depending on the tool that it is being used in but also the load acting against the unit while in use. We would be happy to investigate to see whether your run time would be considered average; please kindly contact Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934.
I can't believe how powerful and long lasting this battery is that runs my weedeater, chainsaw n blower. It is amazing how far batteries have come. I was a skeptic but now I am a believer.
We have 5 acres with a lot of mowing area. My wife asked for an additional battery for our Greenworks 21 inch mower. I chose this Pro 60V 6.0 Ah UltraPower Battery. The first day she reported that it lasted twice as long as our other two batteries and she was thrilled with the run time. Everything we've purchased from Greenworks - the mower, backpack blower, and 16in chainsaw have worked beautifully, especially without wasting lots of time messing with gas, oil, sparkplugs, and aggravation.
Excellent 60 volt 6AH battery pack. Pairs well with our new Green Works 60 volt power washer. Good run time. Also purchased the quick charge battery charger, no Need to buy second battery .
Specifically bought the lawnmower last year because it came with two batteries. Last summer, I was able to cut my entire lawn using one and half battery. This summer both batteries go dead before I'm done. This is an inconvenience since I have to stop and recharge a battery.

Hello Micbee,
We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with this battery. The overall battery life is dependent on many factors such as where they have been stored, charged, and handled. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. It is recommended to store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, to check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we advise charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive the most of the battery life. Please know that our batteries are covered by the manufacturer's warranty as stated in the owner’s manual period from the date of purchase. Should you continue to experience a problem with the battery and charger, simply contact Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934. All we ask that you have access to the battery and charger so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information.
I purchased the 6.0ah to give my mower some more juice. Now I can finish my lawn with a touch of life left over. If i put it in my trimmer i can do my whole property and the battery goes down 1 bar. Big energy in this unit.
