I found the 5ah that came with the mower fairly lackluster. Figured I’d get a second since the mower is awesome and has duel battery ports. While the wait for another 5ah was getting long and frustrating it was an awesome surprise to see the 6ah finally come out instead. Got it and have been blown away with the difference. What used to take THREE full charges on the 5ah, I was was able to accomplish with 3/4 of the single 6ah. Soooooo much better!

I bought this because the 2 batteries that came with the lawnmower didn’t have enough power to cut my Bermuda lawn at the lowest mower setting. This extra battery still didn’t give me enough power, even if I didn’t use self propulsion. After raising the mower one setting, two batteries are plenty. There must be a lot of drag from the rear rubber guard at the lowest mower depth.

A powerful little machine and very light for the energy that it has. The only problem I had was the depth guage came loose when I was using it and lost the wing nut. I think it should have a lock nut there instead of a wing nut.
