[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s ok. Originally had the 60v 5amp that came with the mower for the last 4 years and was able to do the complete lawn using the self propel but now it barely finishes without using the self propel. I tried to buy the 5 amp but it’s always on back order like everything else I needed like a trimmer head and mower bag. I’ll never go with the Greenworks brand again because replacement parts are never available.

Terrible operating time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this in April have used probably a dozen times. Originally it would last about 17 minute, which already wasn't great. Just came in from most recent mow and it ran for a total of 6 minutes. I'd be better off buying generic batteries. Not at all worth the upcharge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Old and In the Way

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the 60V 2.5Ah UltraPower Battery & Charger Combo Kit. Batteries are 3 years old! I was told that “use” is what matters but lithium batteries do get old regardless of use.

If batteries expired within a couple of months of manufacture, they'd be useless for their intended purpose. Getting a battery that's been manufactured in the same month you bought it would be unlikely, rest assured, that the battery life will not be affected, and the warranty begins on the purchase date. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knocked a star off because Bluetooth should have been left out to save weight.I use this in my handheld blower and it is Definitely Its own paperweight. I think future versions should ditch the Bluetooth and put in C chargers like their 24v line

Horrible Battery Life or Malfunction

I purchased a greenworks combo package which included a lawnmower, trimmer, blower, two battery chargers, and two batteries (one 60V 2.0 and one 60V 5.0) at a great deal (approximately 1 year ago). Both batteries were well taken care of. Kept in a cool area and charged properly.
The 60V 5.0 has already malfunctioned. When placed in the charger, it will initially flash green then turn red. The battery life indicator light will display 3 of 4 bars but when in use (such as the leaf blower), it will briefly give a surge of power then shut off.
I am very disappointed in the quality of this battery and don't see how this battery alone can be priced a little more then half of the combo package I purchased.
The 60V 2.0 is still going strong but I am now weary of how much longer it can or will last.
As others have said. I don't plan on purchasing a new battery every 8 months to a year.
Deal or no deal, it's ridiculous to invest in products that you expect to last (at least 3-4 years).....but doesn't.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. It is recommended to store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, to check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we advise charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive the most of the battery life. Please know that our batteries are covered by the manufacturer's warranty as stated in the owner’s manual period from the date of purchase.

Exceeded Expectations

I was a little skeptical when purchasing, because my normal batteries work great, but I opted for the X-Range to try it out. Right off the bat I was impressed with the weight and how quickly it charged. The indicators are awesome, the bluetooth connectivity was great and most importantly - the battery lasted for a LONG time. This was worth it in my opinion. I have about 5 different 60V tools and 6 total batteries, this will be my new go-to battery.
I would recommend this to a friend!
