Received a USED battery

I ordered a new 5.0Ah UltraPower battery and I received a battery that has clearly been used as there is wear and tear on it. The box for the battery was taped shut to hold it together (unlike any other battery that I’ve ordered). If I wanted a renewed battery, I would have ordered a renewed battery.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have 2 batteries/charger from purchasing a blower, and a weed eater. I keep them indoors and plugged in all the time. I recently purchased a lawnmower that takes these batteries. So we'll see if they continue to work flawlessly for the mower. I had another brand 36V mower that lasted 8 years plugging in always in my hot garage. Not ideal, not recommended but I cant argue with the results. Hopefully, I get 8 years out of the Greenworks batteries.
Pros: Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Durable, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful

search ineffective

I'm in the website looking at the product page for SKU 2949102 MODEL# LB605 battery. I entered the SKU and Model# in the product search screen. The results came back without finding the product. So the search facility is basially useless.

Battery Won't Charge

I bought the Greenworks PRO 21 in. 60V Battery Cordless Push Lawn Mower with 5.0 Ah Battery and Charger in April of 2022. I haven't even had it a year and the battery will not charge. The charger just blinks red. I'm not even sure what to replace. The lawnmower has been discontinued. I think purchasing these cordless tools is a waste of money.
Pros: Quiet
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

60v 5.0 is a poor battery

I’ve bought several pieces of Greenworks equipment, individually and combo packs. This battery died within the first year. I could not verify which piece of equipment it came with so I could provide specific model number, serial number or receipt. Very disappointed. The equipment is great and the 60v 2.0 batteries have held up fine

Unfortunately, we are not sure of each customer's expertise with our units, so we do just need to confirm basic troubleshooting procedures before determining the proper course of action. There is truly no intent to disappoint our customers, sometimes the solution is at the end of their fingertips but can easily be overlooked. Troubleshooting can help provide immediate resolutions to customers, instead of just sending parts which may not fix the issue if it is a potential user error. We do advise our customers to hold on to a copy of their receipt for the duration of the warranty, just in case. Receipts, serial, and model numbers are required information for all warranty claims. This information is necessary to keep an accurate record of which items and model numbers are defective and is ultimately for your safety and reduces fraudulent acts. I have had this battery for over 2 years, use it regularly and have never had an issue with this or any other Greenworks product. I own: selfpropelled lawnmower, chainsaw, blower, line trimmer, hedge trimmer and a pole saw all 60V. I had an issue once with a blower and Greenworks quickly sent me a replacement trimmer so I would not have to drive 50 miles to a certified repair shop. I have also purchase Greenworks products for one of my sons and a self-propelled lawn mower for my 88 year old mother who mows her lawn weekly and loves it.
I would recommend Greenworks products and this 5.0 battery to anyone who wants a quality product.

Disappointment

After 1 year, this battery life lasts 30-40 minutes of use in the backpack leaf blower even when used on the lower speed.
I would recommend this to a friend!
