Love my Greenworks Pro Self-propelled mower, but second battery is defective. When fully charged (all four indicator lights on battery lit & charger light steady green), only lasts for 15-20 minutes depending on use of self-propelled feature. Then 2 battery indicator lights remain lit, but battery is dead. Second battery was a birthday gift from my daughter in order to complete 3/4 acre yard in one mowing and only used one season.

Hello Grammie,
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the run time of this battery when used in this lawn mower. It is important to adjust your mowing techniques to make the most out of the battery life, but it goes without saying that that the harder the unit works, the quicker the battery drains. Here are a few mowing tips to help achieve the optimal run time. 1) When cutting thick grass, reduce walking speed in order to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings. 2) Only mow 1/3 of the total grass length at a time - no more. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months. 3) Mow when the grass is dry. As this is an electric unit, mowing wet/damp grass is a safety issue. However, ensuring the grass is dry will also help the grass cut cleanly and discharge appropriately. Wet/damp grass carries more weight and will mostly stick to the blade/motor shaft and will not appropriately discharge or cut easily. 4) Make sure the battery is cool before use. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. We hope these tips will help! If not, we would be happy to investigate to see whether your run time would be considered average; please submit an email using the customer contact page on our website or give us a call at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). All we ask that you have access to the unit so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information.
Too short, requires you to hunch over quite a bit to use it. The angle could be much better, the blade is not sharp to begin with.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello there,
Thank you for sharing your experience with this lawnmower. We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve moving forward. We are sorry to hear that the unit has not fully met your expectations. Please know that all stick edger blades like these are not sharp and they have square edges.

Great edger. Easy to use. Nice not to have to mess with gas. I also have the 60V blower. Easy to switch the battery from one to the other to get both jobs done.
This edger is amazing in that it cuts cleanly and easily through the thickest grass leaving a perfectly trimmed edge. The 60v battery charges quickly and is long lasting allowing me to do both front and back yards and along the driveway too. This edger literally pulled me along making it the best edger I have ever used. Great job Greenworks!!
I own 7 different Greenworks yard products, and they all work well. This 8" Edger is by far my most favorite tool of all of them. I can edge all of my property in under 10 minutes now, compared with about 25 minutes using the String Trimmer. This Edger is a no brainer, as you just walk with it, and it edges perfect every time. When I used the String Trimmer, I could never get the edging perfect, and always had uneven lines around my sidewalk.
