I had been using a string trimmer to edge my sidewalks here with the Florida Bermuda grass, but that was very slow and not a great job. I already had a 60V Greenworks mower and blower, so when I saw that they had an edger now, I had to try it. It works really well, and I am now able to edge that really tough grass back away from the edges of the sidewalk and road in a fraction of the time it took me to do an inferior job with the string trimmer. The unit has plenty of power and is easy to control. I have a fairly small yard, but the battery has PLENTY of power to do all of my edging 2 or 3 times before I need to recharge.
very inconvenient, got the broken battery and taking forever to replace.

Hello edd123,
With the spring season here, we have an influx of requests. We apologize for the delays currently taking place! Our team is doing our best to operate under existing guidelines as well to keep everyone safe. We know your time is valuable and our team is working diligently to be in contact with each waiting customer as quickly as we can be while giving each person the attention they deserve. Unfortunately, we understand this is not ideal, but we want to be clear that this is not a normal experience for Greenworks. Please know, that we look forward to assisting you and are very sorry for the delay.
I bought a 60 V Greenworks mower last year when my gas mower died. Was very excited to switch over and never have to deal with gas cans again. Unfortunately 1 battery didn't quite finish my lawn. Adding a second 60 V 5 A battery for Father's Day was awesome. Can easily finish the whole lawn with power to spare. Both batteries charge fairly quickly and hold their charge great! More than enough power to cut the lawn even when it's a bit overgrown.
Would definitely encourage anyone who is considering to go gas-less to switch, BUT think about a second battery if your lawn is big or thick.
The only reason for the four star review is because the battery cut off a couple of times during the first use but it fired right back up when I tried the handle again. Got through my whole yard with a couple of bars left on charge.
