We have 5 acres with a lot of mowing area. My wife asked for an additional battery for our Greenworks 21 inch mower. I chose this Pro 60V 6.0 Ah UltraPower Battery. The first day she reported that it lasted twice as long as our other two batteries and she was thrilled with the run time. Everything we've purchased from Greenworks - the mower, backpack blower, and 16in chainsaw have worked beautifully, especially without wasting lots of time messing with gas, oil, sparkplugs, and aggravation.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This battery is used in my 25" 60V mower and it last pretty long. I have 5 batteries of which 2 are 5.0Ah; 2 are 4.0Ah; and one is 2.5Ah. I use them in my trimmer, blower and motor and I never run out of battery.

I’ve bought several pieces of Greenworks equipment, individually and combo packs. This battery died within the first year. I could not verify which piece of equipment it came with so I could provide specific model number, serial number or receipt. Very disappointed. The equipment is great and the 60v 2.0 batteries have held up fine

Hello TJ Maki,
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you have experienced an issue with this product and that you were unsatisfied with the customer service experience that you had. Unfortunately, we are not sure of each customer's expertise with our units, so we do just need to confirm basic troubleshooting procedures before determining the proper course of action. There is truly no intent to disappoint our customers, sometimes the solution is at the end of their fingertips but can easily be overlooked. Troubleshooting can help provide immediate resolutions to customers, instead of just sending parts which may not fix the issue if it is a potential user error. We do advise our customers to hold on to a copy of their receipt for the duration of the warranty, just in case. Receipts, serial, and model numbers are required information for all warranty claims. This information is necessary to keep an accurate record of which items and model numbers are defective and is ultimately for your safety and reduces fraudulent acts. Unfortunately, it seems this information was not available at the time of your call which does not allow us to proceed with the necessary steps to resolve the issue. Once this information and the product is at hand, please give us a callback or start a live chat on our website as we can also do warranty claims via email! We do apologize again for your trouble and look forward to being able to assist you with this issue.

Battery Won't Charge

I bought the Greenworks PRO 21 in. 60V Battery Cordless Push Lawn Mower with 5.0 Ah Battery and Charger in April of 2022. I haven't even had it a year and the battery will not charge. The charger just blinks red. I'm not even sure what to replace. The lawnmower has been discontinued. I think purchasing these cordless tools is a waste of money.
Pros: Quiet

Hello lisaws,
Thank you for reviewing Greenworks 60V battery. We are sorry to hear the battery will not take a charge. The overall battery life is dependent on many factors such as where they have been stored, charged, and handled. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. It is recommended to store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, to check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we advise charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive the most of the battery life. Please know that our batteries are covered by the manufacturer's warranty as stated in the owner’s manual period from the date of purchase. Should you continue to experience a problem with the battery and charger, please contact Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934. All we ask that you have access to the battery and charger so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information.

Greenworks blocked me from commenting on their posts. I love the mower, but the batteries are crap. I have the 21 inch brushless mower 60 volts. My brand new battery lasted for 1.5 hrs of mowing in June 2022, by August 2022 it took hours to fully charge and only lasted 20 minutes. So all I have said is buy twice the chargers and 3 times the batteries. Until the company starts making better quality batteries to match their mowers They blocked me, so I guess that means they have no plans of getting higher quality batteries
Pros: Easy to Use
