This case is very protective. The buttons are very responsive. If you have nails though the S-pen can be slightly difficult to get out. I feel it's a little pricey considering they made it screen less and it's still just as expensive as it was with it. And the lack of color options for their most expensive case. But the over all protection is what matters most.

I chose the teal colored case as it was unique and has not failed my expectations. The only thing missing was the screen protector I've come to expect on defender cases. Nonetheless, it's a great case and I'm happy with it.

I purchased my Otter box for my Note 8. I am a return customer of many years. I refer people and purchase them for all our family needs.
This time around was not the joyful experience I expected. The case is open face without enough silicone build up around the face to protect it if it falls face first. The case is not wireless charging compatible. Meaning every night it has to come out of the protective case to charge on the wireless docking station. I finally get a beautiful purple case and I'm contemplating sending it back for another brand. My heart hurts and I am truly conflicted. The case should have been made with a enclosed face and compatible to wireless charging.

As for the wireless charging, we have deemed the Defender case compatible with all Samsung wireless charging capabilities, as long as the stand is in the flat configuration. I bought the defender box because they have always had the built in screen protector. Not this one. It's really aggravating, because I spent the extra money for the reason. I've been trying to order the glass screen protector, they are out of stock! Overall not very happy with my purchase
