I have had the otter box defender for my phones and my children's phones for many years and while he's I have had to replace the cases for different reasons (My daughters) I have never had to replace a phone. They protect my expense well. They do add bit of bulk to the phone or so I've been told. You really don't notice after awhile, but when you take the car off for any reason, w poo w it it a tiny fragile feeling piece of technology. Well worth the money for the piece of mind is the otterbox.

Hoping It's as good as the rest of them have been one small Complaint cannot use the Charging adapter for old android cord slot is not big enough on bottom of case to allow the use of the Adapter block

I bought this case about a month ago and received it just before my wife's note 8 arrived. It is much less bulky than previous Defender series cases for devices such as iPhone 5, note 5, s5, and s6. It provides extreme protection while maintaining the feel and style of the very modern smart phone. It does not add bulk nor barely any weight, while still protecting the device better than comperable cases.
