I bought it at the release day of the note 8. The case is very secure, but the belt clip doesn't feel like it locks in properly as other defender cases I've had.

this case for being so premium should come with a screen protector....the clip not sure if it's a defective but when I clip it in.. it's clips back out slightly.. case it's just ok ... just feel more should of been giving for the price that was paid..

We truly expect customers to have a better experience with the uniquely curved infinity screen through either direct contact with the glass, or use of a separate tempered glass screen protector. Our magnificent engineers did design an Alpha Glass screen protector that adds an extra layer of security, just in case. Feel free to take a closer look by following the link below! In terms of the belt clip holster, we find it odd that it's not clipping securely to the case. Please reach out to our support team at 1-855-688-7269, and they'll be happy to help find a solution!

I knew before purchasing that there was no built-in screen protector, which surprised me because the Otterbox Defender series are known for their superior phone protection. However, I bought the defender case for my Note 8 anyways. After having my phone for a few days with the Otterbox, I have come to the conclusion that not having a built-in screen protector does actually leave the phone screen vulnerable. Even with the raised bevel - it wouldn't help if you were to drop your phone on a rocky surface. I love the Otterbox defender series. Always have. But I will be returning this case due to there not being a screen protector built-in like its predecessors. Hopefully Otterbox will design a new defender case for the Note 8 with the added screen protection.
