I bought the case as soon as it came out for the note 8. It would be a 5 star if the belt clip would clamp on to the phone better. I do construction and on the first day alone it unclipped and the phone fell. I've been buying defender cases since they first came out years ago. This is the first time the clip is not up to par.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased my first smart phone when my grandson was 3. No one would let him near their delicate phones, I purchased an Otter box Defender case, handed my phone to him and never looked back. Some people laughed that it made my phone a little more bulky but in the end I have never had a cracked screen and when I upgrade my phones look as if they just came off the shelf. I just received my Note 8, had the case even before the phone arrived, popped it in and I cannot wait for my now 11 year grandson to explore all of its new features.
