I have used the OtterBox defender series cases for years now on all my devices. They are proven and I just love the craftsmanship. My last phone was the Note 4 and I took the case off of it and it look immaculate, just like it was remove from the factory package. I just installed a new OtterBox defender case on my New Note 8 and expect it to do the job of protection my new phone. I stand by the OtterBox brand, they really do make an excellent product.

Had this case for 2 weeks now. Missing having the screen protector like the s7 edge and when clipping the phone to the holster the phone must face outwards that's the only way to secure the phone I'm place.

We intentionally left out the screen protector on the Galaxy Note 8 Defender so that customers would have the best experience using the curved infinity screen. Good casen, but the belt clip broke after 2 days

The phone case itself is as good as any Otterbox defender series case I've had, but the belt clip broke after only 2 days (it broke from LIGHTLY hitting my kitchen counter). I've been using Otterbox defender cases for about 6 years now, and all the belt clips from my previous phones are still in 1 piece after taking at least 2 years of abuse. I would've given it 5 stars if the clip didn't break so soon.
Maybe the design for this belt clip can be revised to take tje extra length into account.
Otherwise the hard and soft covers fit the ohine very well, without making the phone bulky.
I would recommend this to a friend!
