good protection

so far I like my otter box. its better than what is available. I do have only 2 issues, one being no cover for the front. the other is the clip to case system. it a bit loose, there is a bit of "play" when clipped in the belt clip section. I hope they resolved the rubber to plastic frame. the boiling water thing don't work on my last cover on my Note 3.
my co worker was asking about the otter box cover...so I threw it about 30 ft in the air and landed on a concrete bus repair shop floor...of course it was with my Note 3...

I have the screen-less Defender series for my wife's S8+ and my Note 8. The cases are extremely durable and last quite a while. Whenever I get a new phone, Otterbox is the way to go!

Live this case. Defender protection and doesn't feel as bulky. I can only find one draw back and that is with the holster. Inserting the phone with the screen facing holster is not secure... Your phone will fall out

I bought the case 2 weeks ago paid to much money for it with no clear face protection. I'm still waiting to see when the expensive clear face protection comes out.

Defending Defender

I purchased a Defender case for my wife's iPhone 7-8 years ago when my phone of choice was a Nokia brick device. After she got it all put together, I decided there was no other way to go. We've both been through multiple iPhones and Androids and they've all had Defender cases. As far as we're concerned, all our future phones will have Defenders as well. I am disappointed however that my Defender for my new Note8 did not come with a screen protector. I will be watching for one.

OTTERBOX WITH SCREEN PROTECTOR

I have always used Otterbox Defender when available. None for Galaxy Note Edge and now a Defender for Note 8 with no scree Protector. Disappointed, Defender used to mean total equipment protection. Tried it with tempered glass but upper edge of it broke while going in and out of holster.Just not for me without screen protector, too many chanches of screen damage
