Once again, Otterbox gives me the protection I need for a very... very, very expensive phone. I'm a rough and tumble in my everyday life, so need all the protection I can get to wrap around my phone. Worth every penny.

I am extremely displeased that the defender does not offer the screen protector anymore. I've been a faithful otterbox customer for all of my phones, and I am not exceptionally enthused about this one. It does not fit as tight in the holster as my others have. I am pleased with the availability of different colors.

We apologize that you're feeling so disheartened by this Galaxy Note 8 Defender series! We intentionally decided to do away with the built-in screen protector on this version to perfectly complement the curved screen of the device. After all, we definitely think you should be able to successfully use your phone while it is under our protection!
As for the holster, we typically recommend inserting the device into the clip with the screen facing out - this orientation usually works better with curved screens.
