The clip is cheap it is not as strong as the note 5 case and no screen protector

Sorry to hear that your Galaxy Note 8 Defender is not living up to the expectations set by your previous Note 5 case! We intentionally decided to forego the built-in screen protector on this series to allow customers full, uninterrupted access to the curved infinity glass. However, we do carry the Alpha Glass screen protector, which you can seal separately to the display for an extra layer of fortified protection. Feel free to check it out by following the link below!

I own several Otter cases and think they're great overall. This is my 3rd note case, the one thing I would modify is the cover where the charger plugs into the phone. Each of my past cases have broken starting in this area. With the note 8 case the modification was done for the spen area .it would be great if you could extend the opening to the charging area if possible. Otherwise great product great company....

I love it like all past Otterbox products I have purchased I just wish the holster latch would be a little beefier and have a more firm grip on the phone. I've never been one to carry them in my pocket!

I purchased my Otter box for my Note 8. I am a return customer of many years. I refer people and purchase them for all our family needs.
This time around was not the joyful experience I expected. The case is open face without enough silicone build up around the face to protect it if it falls face first. The case is not wireless charging compatible. Meaning every night it has to come out of the protective case to charge on the wireless docking station. I finally get a beautiful purple case and I'm contemplating sending it back for another brand. My heart hurts and I am truly conflicted. The case should have been made with a enclosed face and compatible to wireless charging.

We believe that individuals will have a better experience with the uniquely curved infinity screen through either direct contact or use of a separate tempered glass screen protector. If you're still looking for a little extra screen protection, we do carry the Alpha Glass, which will pair perfectly with your Defender!
As for the wireless charging, we have deemed the Defender case compatible with all Samsung wireless charging capabilities, as long as the stand is in the flat configuration. If this is the case and you are still having trouble, please feel free to call our detective Otters at 1-855-688-7269, and they'll be happy to investigate!

I think I might have had an otter box case for almost all my phones since I started using smart phones. Great case, very durable. Successfully protected my phone from damage on several occasions. I am missing the built-in screen protector for the Note 8, but maybe I don't need it as it wasn't made an option? I'd also have liked to have more options in the way of colors/designs. Otherwise, solid phone protection!
