I have always used otter box phone protection cases for my phone. The only thang i have not liked is my cases have a clip holder and the last two cases clip holders have been very lose on phone and can come out of it to easy and i have had to modify them to hold phone beter. All the other ones have been grate except for last to i have bought.

Bought the purple Defender for the Samsung Note 8. It fits well, is not bulky and has rubber rim on the top and bottom that are higher than the screen so it provides screen protection as well. Love it!

I have used this product for almost a month now. I grew a love for Otter Box using my Note 3 Defender so I purchased this for my new Note 8. The phone fits in the belt clip very loose in this model. easily pops out and you very expensive phone lands on the ground. This just wasn't the quality I'm use to from Otter Box.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you're having trouble keeping the case secured to the clip, we might recommend putting the phone in the belt clip with the screen facing out. This orientation seems to work much better for the Galaxy Note 8 Defender. I always get the defender for all my phones. I have dropped some phones nearly 50 times or more. I used to throw an old motorola droid I had just to demo how good defender cases are. I also always use to just pop out the screen protector so no big deal its gone. I had an LG V20 and I left it on top of my car drove off. heard noise and new what happened. Phone was fine fortunately no other cars ran it over. Recently same thing happened and I thought for sure because of th curved screen it'd be cracked, but nope. Phone was fine minus a scratch on one corner of the outside case. Will always get a defender for every phone I get.

It was clipped to my belt for 2 minutes and the clip fell right off. There is also no cover to protect the screen of my brand new note 8 phone.

If you're looking for a little extra screen security, we do carry the Alpha Glass screen protector which will pair perfectly with your Defender!
As for the belt clip, we might suggest facing the phone screen out whenever you put it in the holster. We have found that this orientation works best for the Galaxy Note 8 Defender. If the belt clip is actually broken, please feel free to call our awesome Otters at 1-855-688-7269, and they'll be happy to replace it under our warranty!
