Without the protective front screen like all other defenders I have purchased for every phone ever. This imperfect design let's you down over and over. Have scratches on screen. Purchased multiple screen protectors. Usually only had to buy one screen protector whole life of phone once you put on otter box.. but now sad to find they can't design with screen protection.. shouldn't be called defender. Not even close to that class!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We deliberately decided to do away with the traditional built-in screen protector to provide the best access possible to the curved infinity display. Were you using our Alpha Glass screen protector in conjunction with this Defender case? Unfortunately, we are unable to test our products with third-party accessories, so we cannot guarantee that any other screen protectors would be 100% compatible. If you haven't tried the Alpha Glass yet, we would highly recommend it, since that screen protector is cut specifically to work with our cases. I ended up cutting the flaps off for the charging and headphone port. They were always very difficult to open, and didn't really see a need to keep them on there. Also disappointed that it doesn't have the screen protector, though I understand why, but I feel like that should be a solvable problem for otterbox considering the price of the product.
