I bought an Otterbox for my note 3 and it lasted 5 years, when I removed it from the case it looked brand new. I'm super rough with my phone and work a high impact job so it was so worthwhile purchasing this product. I just bought the new note 8 and had my Otterbox ordered and delivered before I even picked up the phone. 100% would recommend.

I was very upset at first that this case didn't come with the built in screen, because that was the main thing I liked about the defender series. I'm glad I bought it anyways, and I am glad that it didn't come with the built in screen protector. It still protects the screen from falls. They have their reasons for doing things, and Otterbox making a decision to take away the built in screen was a good one.

Got my case about 2 weeks ago. The only complaint is the covers for the ear and power jacks. After some time, it looks like the will either fail, or mess up the case. Time will tell. Otherwise, awesome cases.
Been a fan for many, many years.
