I have the Samsung Note 8 and the Galaxy s8. This is the 1st otterbox case that didn't get 5 stars. I do not like the screenless feature. Plus, the belt clip holder does not feel secure and due to the space from no screen, it "clicks" after inserting feeling like it it's not in place. The option of still being able to wireless charging is an awesome feature, even though I can't use it due the medal plate for my magnetic holder, but that's a separate issue... Maybe otterbox should make a phone holder for the car...?

We intentionally decided to take a screenless approach to this product in order to give customers full access to the uniquely curved infinity display. However, it is odd that the belt clip holster is not tightly fastening, as the clip is engineered to hold your phone securely at your side for on-the-go protection! Please feel welcome to call our super-sleuth Otters at 1-855-688-7269, and they’ll gladly get to the bottom of this and send out a warranty replacement.
As for the magnetic car holder, unfortunately we are unable to test our products with third-party accessories, so we cannot guarantee that they will always be compatible with items from different companies. We're happy to pass your feedback along to our product design team for future consideration, and if you have any additional questions, please let us know!

This is my third Otter Box Defender. It is not as sturdy as those I've previously owned. The clasp does not hold as tightly as the older. This one does not have the heavy rubber corners (which is where all cell phoned hit when they fall)
