I preordered this case to go with my new phone, and thought I’d give the symmetry a try, as if never used one before. I returned it within a day. The color was not what I was expecting, it was much lighter and not as flattering as the picture. It had a very slippery hard shell, which I know is to help it slide out of one’s pocket but it ended up sliding out of my hand. The rounded corners made it very hard to grip in my opinion. And it was a lot thinner than I expected. I wouldn’t have minded it so much if it wasn’t as expensive as the more protective cases.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've used this case on multiple phones in the past, and I stick with it because it works best for me in an office setting where my phone is in and out of my pants pocket and/or suit pocket. The one I received for the XSM had rather sharp edges on the sides, like the plastic itself was formed that way. It's disappointing because it's never been like that before.

However there are just as good boxes now at cheaper prices,with more of a variety of designs. If you want to spend the money for an Otterbox,youwill get the protection.

When is comes to this case it’s very nice specially for my phone it’s complimentary it stands out and people love it. I’m not a show off or anything like that I bought the case because they were out of stock of other things, but it grew on me really quick lily it’s a beautiful color and everybody comments on the look and slimness of it. The Symmetry Series case is very nice & looks great. However, the shell is a very hard, tough, durable plastic. So much so, that it makes it easy to slide out of your hand, and thus drop the phone. Relative to grip, it is a bit better than the naked phone, but not much. This is a very big phone. The case needs to have better grip ability. Like the defender series. Also the case is very slim/thin. As such the case does not stick out much further than the screen, or the camera lens. If dropped flat, even a very small pebble will hit the glass screen, or the camera lens. If you’re looking for good drop protection and a good grip for your $1,550 iPhone Xs Max, get the Defender Series.
