This was one of the few cases available of the XS Max if they didn’t change the camera on the back your 8 plus case would work just fine. The case is fine and I like the color. The only complaint is the case has no grip so it does slip easily out of your hand so make sure you have insurance on your phone.

I preordered this case to go with my new phone, and thought I’d give the symmetry a try, as if never used one before. I returned it within a day. The color was not what I was expecting, it was much lighter and not as flattering as the picture. It had a very slippery hard shell, which I know is to help it slide out of one’s pocket but it ended up sliding out of my hand. The rounded corners made it very hard to grip in my opinion. And it was a lot thinner than I expected. I wouldn’t have minded it so much if it wasn’t as expensive as the more protective cases.

I bought this case for my sister because it was her favorite color. Though the case is almost perfect for anyone, it’s only flaw is that it gets dirty easily around the edges. The case is pretty pricy for it to have this deficit and it would be the only reason why I would not recommend it.

I bought this for my XS max. It feels good in the hand, looks great and protects it. Dropped it from 6 ft high and it bounced on several on several objects before hitting the ground and no damage to my device. Not saying this would happen with everyone, but it did mine. Would def recommend and purchase again.

Its my third Otterbox cause i know that i can count on the protection in any case. With a smartphone who's covered in glass and costs as mich as i earn at work in one month i trust onky in cases who do eell what they supposed to be. I like how my Symmetry feels in the hand and with a protective glass on the front i don't need tonworry carrying such an expensive device on a daily basis. Thanks Otterbox for this awesome product!

While this case still offers a decent amount of protection, the new design of the symmetry series no longer has a bumper of protection for the screen or camera. Had I known this at purchase I would have kept looking.
