I have a small enough yard that it only takes about 15-20 mins to cut. The battery level is at 2 of 3 bars after I finish. The wheels push quite strongly and can easily go uphill. I’m very pleased with the performance of this mower. 48v 2x24 self propelled w/5 Ah batteries. The free drill is quite low powered in terms of the torque rating but it is stronger than anything I routinely need it for so that was a nice surprise. I also appreciate the USB port on the batteries to charge my devices at 1A when I’m out camping.

Exactly What I Expected!

My neighbor bought this mower a few weeks ago and I had the chance to test it out prior to buying. After testing it, I knew it was exactly what I needed. This mower has all the power I need to get through my entire yard with juice left to spare. I'm looking forward to slowly start replacing all my old yard products with this voltage lineup, and to be able to share the batteries with power tools around the home is an added plus.
My customer experience throughout the entire ordering process on site and tracking updates after placing the order were fantastic. Mower delivered fast and was easy to assemble out of the box. Well done, Greenworks! Happy customer here.

THIS IS SECOND GREENWORKS MOWER PURCHASED. THIS MOWER DOES NOT SEEM TO HOLD A CHARGE AS LONG AS THE ORIGINAL ONE PURCHASED. I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY RECOMMENDATIONS TO HELP THIS SITUATION. I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED AN ADDITIONAL BATTERY.

When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. It is recommended to store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, to check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we advise charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive the most of the battery life. Please know that our batteries are covered by the manufacturer's warranty as stated in the owners manual period from the date of purchase.

It is important to adjust your mowing techniques to make the most out of the battery life, it goes without saying that that the harder the unit works, the quicker the battery drains.
Here are a few mowing tips to help achieve the optimal run time.
1) When cutting thick grass, reduce walking speed in order to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings.
2) Only mow 1/3 of the total grass length at a time - no more. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months.
3) Mow when the grass is dry. As this is an electric unit, mowing wet/damp grass is a safety issue. However, ensuring the grass is dry will also help the grass cut cleanly and discharge appropriately. Wet/damp grass carries more weight and will mostly stick to the blade/motor shaft and will not appropriately discharge or cut easily.
4) Make sure the battery is cool before use. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging.

I have the snowblower so I thought I would try the mower. While its easy to use, charge the batterys and drop them in, and is easy to start, its very heavy. I wish I had sprung for the self propelled. I am kind of stuck but for me, this is almost as heavy as my gas lawnmower, just easier to use
