Works great but couldn't make it through my whole lawn using the self propelled. It was extremely hard to move without using self propelled.

Bought my second 48v lawn mower for my grandson. It's powerful enough for small yards and delivers great cuts for bermuda grass. Really like not having to mess with gas and oil and can store it in very small space. It is also light enough that I can easily push it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this 48v mower for my daughter. Another great Greenworks product that arrived on time and with all the features I was looking for. She has a small yard and is perfect for her. Plus she won’t be calling saying it won’ start.

Battery life is good and lasted for my entire property. However, it stopped multiple times (assuming the battery was too hot) which meant I had to take breaks, which made time to completion much longer. Height adjustment is very difficult to change. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.

Hello Mandzy37
Thank you for the positive feedback. Happy to hear you are enjoying the product! It is important to adjust your mowing techniques to make the most out of the battery life but it goes without saying that that the harder the unit works, the quicker the battery drains. Here are a few mowing tips to help achieve the optimal run time. 1) When cutting thick grass, reduce walking speed in order to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings. 2) Only mow 1/3 of the total grass length at a time - no more. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months. 3) Mow when the grass is dry. As this is an electric unit, mowing wet/damp grass is a safety issue. However, ensuring the grass is dry will also help the grass cut cleanly and discharge appropriately. Wet/damp grass carries more weight and will mostly stick to the blade/motor shaft and will not appropriately discharge or cut easily. 4) Make sure the battery is cool before use. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. We hope these tips will help! If you have any follow up questions, or for further assistance.

Great lawn more for my yard. 1/4 acre is mowed easily even at its thickest. Haven't been able to get my batteries to show full charge when installed but it's still plenty enough to mow my lawn.

I haven't had grass I'm 20 years, and I was excited to see there were electric mowers now. I wish it actually worked better though. To be fair, the grass was pretty full by the time I attempted to now it. It just struggled to mow the grass and the batteries died in about 10 minutes. I'll give it another try, but now I have this long grass and some dread of having to use this thing 10 minutes at a time to mow my lawn. Kind of a bummer...

Hello SL2022,
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the run time of this battery when used in this lawn mower. It is important to adjust your mowing techniques to make the most out of the battery life! This unit is advertised as running up to 45 minutes of run-time* with 2 fully charged 4.0 Ah USB Batteries, but it goes without saying that that the harder the unit works, the quicker the battery drains. Here are a few mowing tips to help achieve the optimal run time. 1) When cutting thick grass, reduce walking speed in order to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings. 2) Only mow 1/3 of the total grass length at a time - no more. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. We hope these tips will help! If not, we would be happy to investigate to see whether your run time would be considered average; please submit an email using the customer contact page on our website or give us a call at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). All we ask that you have access to the unit so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information.

Haven't been able to use it yet, it's only April and we are in Wisconsin but I can say easy assembly and powered up the batteries and started it up and everything is working properly.
