2 of 3 bolts on the blade assembly came loose and I found one and it was already so stripped, I was unable to reattach it. Also batteries must be cool to charge and extra batteries are expensive, takes 2-4hrs to charge. Takes 2 charges to mow my yard of 1/4 acre. Will contact support for repair since you can't return without all the parts & original packaging! Unfortunate since it was very light and easy to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had this lawnmower for 2 days. First day it cut the backyard beautiful and I was excited for the self propelled function. The next the self propelled doesn't work and I've been on hold for and hour with customer service.

Hello JAVAN,
We are sorry that you are having an issue with one of our products! With the spring season here, so is our busiest time of year which unfortunately means increased wait times. To start we would advise that you activate the motor for the blade before you activate the self-propelled feature. 1. Start the machine. 2. While you hold the start handles, grab either of the drive levers and pull towards the handle bar. 3. Hold the start handles and the drive levers at the same time. 4. Release either set of start handle and drive lever from the same side. 5. Adjust the speed control with your free hand. • Slide the speed control button in the direction of the Rabbit Symbol to increase the speed. • Pull the speed control button in the direction of the Turtle Symbol to decrease the speed. 6. Release the drive levers to close the self-propel system. Hoping this was maybe a misstep and will be able to correct with these instructions. Should you have any further questions or warranty needs, please feel speak to Greenworks Customer Care at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS).
Easy and quick assembly. The mower works well and is easy to maneuver. Even my 11yr old can push up the small hill in our backyard. Bagging the grass is easy with a decent sized bag. And, you can even mow without the bag attached without getting clogged or large grass clumps. The only issue is the battery life, but this is my third cordless electric mower (each from a different manufacturer) and that seems to be a constant. I plan on ordering a second set of batteries to be able to easily finish my lawn in a single afternoon. I would and have recommended this mower to my friends and family.
After doing some research, I finally decided to purchase a battery powered lawn mower. Greenworks was recommended by a friend, and so far the mower has exceeded by expectations in every way. Power, battery life, and performance match any gas mower and seem to be better in many ways. I would recommend this mower for anyone who is switching from gas to electric. Completely satisfied with my purchase.
This machine does a very good job of mulching and cutting the grass/weeds. The batteries last long enough for a small are with some grass and lots of weeds. I can imagine the battery will last long enough to do the front yard on the standard fraud lawn of your home about 60 x 100 feet.
I bought this a month ago. Easy to push, easy to put together. Lite weight folds down easy to put away in the garage so less space is taken up. Cuts pretty good on small yards. Still trying to get the right adjustment so it cuts better. Runs quiet.
