I would not recommend this mower. The battery dies after about 45 min of use and takes at least 6 hours to recharge. If you have grass that's even the slightest bit thick, it can't handle it and just shuts off. It took me 4 days to cut my grass with this mower because it kept turning off and dying on me. What a waste of money.

Hello Waste of money
Thank you for reaching out to us. We regret to hear that you do not recommend this product. Many customers have had great success with this model and come to enjoy it in our product line up. We wish it could have provided the same experience for you. It is important to adjust your mowing techniques to make the most out of the battery life! As you mentioned you are getting approx. 45 mins runtime. when using the both batteries combined this would be normal. This unit is advertised as running up to 45 minutes of run-time with two fully charged 4.0 Ah USB Batteries. We would be interested in hearing more about the charge time. Charge time for the batteries are 60 minutes per 24V Battery (4.0 Ah battery), your charge time of 6hr. is abnormal, please contact Greenworks at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) so we can investigate the charging time. All we ask that you have access to the unit so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information.
I’ve used this mower a few times so far and it cuts great, super easy to use and in general I like it. The downfall is that the batteries are only lasting me 30 minutes so I always have about 10 square feet left to mow when the batteries die. Which is pretty annoying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello Hats,
Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear that you have ultimately been enjoying the performance of this unit. Please know that there are many factors that can affect the run time. The run time of a lawnmower is dependent on the load acting against the unit and fluctuates depending on the height setting, the terrain, grass height, type of grass, whether you are mulching, etc - there are so many factors to consider. The run-time of a battery would depend on the load acting on the unit while in use (speed, terrain, unit height, grass height, and density). Please be aware that the more power being used from the lawnmower (i.e. lawnmower speed, terrain, grass height, density, etc.), the faster the battery charge will drain. Here are a few tips to help you extend the run time! 1) Set the mower to the highest cutting height (or 1/3 of the length of grass), and mow no more than 1/3 of the total length at a time. 2) Ensure that the grass is dry. 3) That the battery is cool before use. We hope these tips will help you extend your run time!
