I love my mower

Unusable Battery Life

Fresh out of the box not even able to cut my lawn for 15 minutes until it runs out of battery. Just enough to make you mad that you started to begin with and your yard looks worse than if you hadn’t done anything. I can only imagine the 5 Star reviews are bot reviews or people living in Barbie’s dream house sized mowing areas. Truth be told it’s a waste of money and even getting a second set of batteries won’t solve the problem as the charging time VASTLY outweighs the run time. Will be looking to return

The 48v self-propelled lawn mower cuts up to 1/2 acre when using the (2) fully charged 5Ah batteries (included). The maximum advertised run time is based on no load. It is important to recognize that the Runtimes can vary depending on a few factors, including but not limited to if the self-propel feature is used throughout the entire cut, grass texture and consistency, cutting height, and lawn size. Please note, users must use (2) fully charged Greenworks 24V battery packs. Do not use battery packs other than Greenworks 24V. Ensure both batteries are charged 100%. If each battery has a different charge state, the run-time of the machine is subject to the lowest powered battery (For example: one battery is charged 100%, and the other is charged 50%, the unit will only run until the 50% battery is depleted). When using (2) batteries with different amp hours (Ah), the machine will run until the lower (Ah) battery is depleted. . The best mower I’ve ever had!! Reliable and long lasting battery life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple of months ago. Highly recommended by my son. I didn’t really think that a cordless battery operated mower would have any power. This one did not let me down. The power in the longevity of the battery is enough to keep me busy throughout the day doing my lawn, which is an acre and gross pretty fast where we are from. We use it weekly and I sometimes take it to my father-in-law son. Use it there too, and I love it.

The batteries suck. Imagine cutting your grass and 25 minutes into it, the battery does and you have to wait 30 minutes for the batteries to cool down. And then almost three hours for it to charge again. And then repeat the process again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As we are not sure of the condition of your lawn, we are not exactly sure why the battery did not meet your expectations. The maximum runtime often applies to a flat, open yard. Slopes and obstacles require more power, and users can expect running time to be less, if this is the case. Runtime measurements are also related to the condition of the grass and if it is well-maintained. Tall, thick grass requires more power, and you must mow it slower, consuming added runtime. Here are a few tips to ensure the max runtime is achieved. Ensure you charge the battery fully before each use, maintain the battery properly by cleaning terminals, avoid extreme temperatures during storage, consider buying a second battery for larger lawns, mow in a straight line. If the grass has been left to exceed 4 inches, we advise that you raise the cutting height and cut no more than one-third of the length of grass at a time, wait a couple of days and do another one-third, cut when grass is dry and walk at steady pace to allow the blade to work more efficiently. As the lawn becomes consistently maintained you will see the cut and runtime improve. Hope these tips help! It fits my needs and price point as I have only a small front yard.
Ordered and received them kit as promissed. It was packaged nicely. Assembly was fairly straight forward.
Took a bit to charge up both batteries. Once done I got to mowing and I really liked the assist drive.
I was able to mow, trim & blow on one charge with enough left battery left to do it again before needing to recharge.
What I was paying a gardener this will pay its self off within the year.
I expect to get many years use out this.
It fits my needs and price point as I have only a small front yard.

Amazing Product

After testing this mower for several weeks, I was really surprised and pleased with how it preformed. Many things stuck out to me about this mower a few of them are. The first thing was how long the batteries lasted. I can use it all week mowing back yards, inside fences and decent sized front yards on one charge of the 4 batteries. Another thing that I loved about this mower is the rear wheel drive and how it doesn’t get stuck and spin tires. If it gets in a hard place all I had to do was push down and it would come right out of it. Something else this mower has that is great is the extreme power. As I was using it, I took it to all kinds of grass and brush just to see what it would do and no matter what I threw at it the mower never quit bogged down or anything. Another great feature of the Greenworks mower is the one lever to adjust the entire Hight of the mower. I loved this because my old push mower had one for each wheel and most the time was uneven but no this one. This is a great feature to the mower in my opinion. Another thing that is nice about this model is that you can put all four batteries in the mower at one time and it will display on the handles the level of the different batteries when one dies it automatically switches to the next without stopping. This is so nice that you done have to stop go find a battery and start again because you have 3 more that last a long time you can just keep on going. Something else that stood out to me is the four batteries and two chargers that are included with the mower. This is great because for the price you get everything you need to operate the mower. The last great feature is the ability to mulch, bag or side discharge the grass all in one mower. With a quick change of a few parts, you can decide where you want the grass to go. This is great because I can do it all in one anytime. As a landscaper having a product that will hold up to the abuse is got power and has a lot of versality is a big factor and plus in business and this Greenworks 2x24 volt mower has it all. This is the best push mower by far that I have ever used. I give this mower a 5 out of 5 stars because it is an amazing product.
