We bought this to replace our 9 year old greenworks lawn mower, which gave us good service. We enjoy not having a gas powered mower and all the hassel that comes with it. The new mower with its 21" deck is working perfectly for us. It cuts our entire lawn on one charge of one of the two batteries it came with. Just love this mower. Easy breezy!
After years of hurting my shoulder while trying to start my gas mower and string trimmer each spring and then having to take them in for a costly tune-up, i had enough. I purchased a pro series 80v mower and trimmer and could not be happier with my purchase. Push the bottom off we go, i have well over 1/3 acre to cut and can make it on one charge of my 5ah battery, couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
This is my first battery operated lawn mower. I've watched and waited for years to see them get stronger and batteries last longer. I am pleased I waited. This little self propelled mower can mow my .25 acre property with battery to spare. Then I put battery in my new 80V backpack blower and clear off the sidewalk and driveway. This model is much lighter than my previous gas self-propelled model. I can push it up my graded lawn with ease without using the self-propelled feature, though I appreciate the self-propelled assist when called upon for the long incline runs across the back yard. The self-adjusting power feature means the mower takes a moment to get up to a good walking speed (which is also adjustable) using self-propelled feature, but once there it maintains well. Cutting performance is just as good as my conventional gas mower. Well done Greenworks! Customer service even walked me though a hiccup at first use (push and hold the green start button first, then engage the blade lever to hear mower start) and gave me other tips on my other purchases, saving another call. They were courteous, professional and very helpful. A good experience for me. Now I feel confident in replacing all the gas yard equipment.
I have never owned a battery-operated mower. I love it!
The charge lasts long enough to mow my good-sized city lot more than once. It lasts long enough to mow the entire yard once and the front and sides another time. I mow my front elevation twice a week.
Kentucky is hot, humid and wet. Grass grows thick here. This mower can take it.
As a great-grandmother, I appreciate the push-button start. I like the mower's various speeds to prolong battery life, and the mower's sound is much kinder on my ears. I can mow early in the day and feel confident I am not disturbing the neighborhood.
Changing the mowing deck's height is the easiest EVER. Pull one lever for the whole deck.
The 21-inch path is not noticeably different from my gas-powered Craftsman mower.
My mower is not self-propelled. I don't need one. This mower is light weight.
Super impressed with the cut, easy start and aelf propel. It is so much quieter that my old gas mower. A great buy, for sure! Love it so much that I bought a greenworks trimmer today! I'm sure I will love it, too
I purchased this mower a month ago my grass was super thick and about 3.5 inches long on my first mow. I have just over a quarter achre and it filled the bad three times but I still had a third battery life to go when I was done
First Rpund: my Lawn is under 5000 sqft for a small fron tn and back yard. Front yard is under 1000 sqft. Mawn mower after first charging didnt finish front yard, left incomplete. tried 3 times of chargning over several hours. took 3 rouns to complete lawn.
2nd attempt after 2 weeks. Tried to use it on 15-MAY-2022. Charged both batteries for over a week. This time Lawnmower stopped under 10 minutes without completinm\g my front yard. which is under 1000 sqft. My lawn is uncut in the front and looks bad.
This Lawn mower would ruin you weekend schedule, cannot rely on this lawnmower for a small lawn.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello there,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with the run time that you are receiving. Please know that there are many factors that can affect the run time. The run time of a lawnmower is dependent on the load acting against the unit and fluctuates depending on the height setting, the terrain, grass height, type of grass, whether you are mulching, etc - there are so many factors to consider. The run-time of a battery would depend on the load acting on the unit while in use (speed, terrain, unit height, grass height, and density). Please be aware that the more power being used from the lawnmower (i.e. lawnmower speed, terrain, grass height, density, etc.), the faster the battery charge will drain. Here are a few tips to help you extend the run time! 1) Set the mower to the highest cutting height (or 1/3 of the length of grass), mow no more than 1/3 of the total length at a time. 2) Mow in the morning or late afternoon to reduce the heat stress on newly cut grass and ensure that grass is dry. 3) Only use the self-propelled feature when needed. We hope these tips will help you with the issue you have encountered, however, if they do not please kindly give us a call at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS).
