Quiet. Lightweight. Easy to maneuver. Easily stored. Takes up little to no space in my garage. I have two batteries, but one lasts long enough to cut my entire yard. Plus, no emissions!!! I highly recommend PRO 80V 21" CORDLESS SELF-PROPELLED LAWN MOWER W/ (1) 4AH (1) 2AH BATTERY & CHARGER!
I’ve never had a electric(battery) powered mower before, however, after purchasing this I was pleasantly surprised at how well it performed, it did as well as any gas mower I have owned in the past, no problem doing the entire lawn on 1 charge, I am very happy with this purchase so far and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it
Purchased 2 weeks ago. Once I tried the lawn. My question is about the Batteries. even after 20 hours+ of charging, the green light on the charger was still on. I was watching to see the light go off or making another color to show its fully charged.
I have a large yard, just shy of 1 acre. The batteries that came with the mower complete the yard! And my neighbors all comment how nicely it cuts and how quiet it is. I enjoy the self-propelled that is easy to turn on and off for the hills that I have.
In early June I bought my mom a Greenworks 80V lawnmower. I was so impressed with how it starts and how well it cuts that I bought another Greenworks lawnmower for me, and I really didn't need one. I added the self-proprelled option. I am sold on battery lawn mowers.

Hello VermontMim,
Thank you for choosing Greenworks Tools for your lawn care needs! Happy to hear you and your mom are enjoying the lawn mower! We would love to offer some tips to help care for the tool and accessories. For best storage practice the lawn mower should be stored somewhere dry and protected from the elements, such as a garage or shed. If you have no other choice but to store it outside, keep it elevated above the ground and covered with a durable tarp. When the battery will not be in use, store it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. Store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we recommend charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive the most of the battery life. If it ends up that you are having an issue with the lawn mower, please contact Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934, and we would be happy to assist you further in remedying an issues. Thank you for your feedback!
Performs as expected. Great cut and excellent battery life. Strongly suggest this mower if you’re shopping for a gas alternative.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello Scott from NY
We are glad to hear you are enjoying the product! We are sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with the run time of this battery. It is important to adjust your mowing techniques to make the most out of the battery life, here are a few mowing tips to help achieve the optimal run time. 1) When cutting thick grass, reduce walking speed to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings. 2) Only mow 1/3 of the total grass length at a time - no more. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months. 3) Mow when the grass is dry. As this is an electric unit, mowing wet/damp grass is a safety issue. However, ensuring the grass is dry will also help the grass cut cleanly and discharge appropriately. Wet/damp grass carries more weight and will mostly stick to the blade/motor shaft and will not appropriately discharge or cut easily. 4) Make sure the battery is cool before use. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. 5) Only use the self-propelled feature when needed. Using the self-propelled feature will reduce the runtime by half. We hope these tips will help. We would be happy to carry on this conversation to offer some additional suggestions, if you are willing, contact Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934. All we ask that you have access to the unit so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information.
We've only had it for about a month but so far so good. We can get both our front and back lawns completed (about a 10th of an acre) on one charge, but the batteries charge fast even if we forget to charge them before mowing. Occasionally the unit shuts off when going over large exposed roots but it could be due to letting up on the handles as they are sensitive and the unit will shut off if you even let up slightly. Overall we are pleased with it!
