Could not be be more delighted with this mower. It is easy to operate, and it cuts very evenly. The power and run time have been all that I have come to expect and I look forward to many years of use. We use this mower to cut in areas that are not accessible to the larger riding mowers, covering an area of a little over an acre. The area has a a few ups and downs and the self-propelled feature works well on the steeper inclines. In addition, the plus of going from gas to electric, both in the maintenance as well as the reduction in noise is hard to calculate, but is definitely worth it.

pros- lightweight, cuts great. cons- headlights are pretty useless, and can't be turned off. (a small negative- but it does use juice.) also- i've been unable to register my unit because there is no way to do it on line, just by phone- long wait times, and haven't been able to get through.

So far so good! I’m very happy with the performance and power over my old gas powered mower. I have a 1/3 of an acre and have plenty of battery life left!

I'm very happy to be using an electric mower and not smell like exhaust after mowing the lawn. Battery life and handling are great. It's not too heavy and I can easily mow for more than one hour since I don't use the Turbo or self propel functions very much. I like the option for using one or two batteries depending on the job or how heavy you want the mower to be. My only complaints are that the bolt for the right side of the handle keeps coming loose and the self propel has a lag to start up and also to disengage. If you want to pull the mower backwards, you have to release the self propel lever a couple seconds before you want it to go backward. I also like the ability to run the self propel with out running the blade.

After owning a 40volt I expected the 80volt to be more powerful and more self propelled.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Just a mower,
Thank you for your question and interest in Greenworks Tools! When it comes to the comparison of our voltage lines, the higher the voltage, the more power the motor has. With that said, the 80V lawn mower would be more powerful. However, the higher the ampere-hour (Ah) rating is on a battery, the longer the run time will be. If you are doing light to medium jobs, any of the Greenworks 40V Axial platform will suffice. However, if you wish for more power than the 80v line would be the best choice. It is worth noting, with the added power comes a heavier unit. If you have a specific question or would like more information, please feel welcome to speak to a Greenworks representative directly at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS).

Replaced my 10 yr old 40v with this 80v one. This cuts like a hot knife through butter and the batteries last longer. Best mower yet

My two main concerns were battery life and power. After using this for the past month, neither has been an issue at all. This has cut through anything I’ve used it for with no problem. It takes about 30 minutes to cut all of my lawn and that isn’t enough to even get the battery to half. I’m definitely impressed so far!
