Perfect electric mower but may need more batteries

My expectations were generally met. I moved into a brand new house with new sod. After hiring someone to do the first two cuts, I finally cut it myself with this 60v 25ft mower. It's nice and quiet and very easy to use. I started mowing while my son was still sleeping (9am) and he said he couldn't hear anything. All the controls are right in front and center and are easy to use. Changing the deck height is a snap, and once you figure out how to start it, it's so easy and reliable. Our grass is less than two months old therefore it grows VERY fast. In addition, our yard is pretty big (over a third of an acre). These two things combined meant that I had to use the two batteries through two and a half cycles for my first mow. I plan to not cut the grass as low next time, which means it should cut faster next time, and I really like the product and would like to get a trimmer, leaf blower and snow blower, so I will have plenty of batteries once there is another sale ^_^ The bag is also on the smaller side, so I felt like I had to empty the bag a lot, however, like I said, our grass grew fast and there was a lot to mow. By next summer, when my grass settles in and stops growing so much and I have extra batteries, I think this mower will be perfect.

Powerful mower. Adjustable speed is a plus. Cut is not as even as my old Lawnboy, primarily because of less vacuum effect and more weight. Nice to dispense with fuel and exhaust fumes.

Easy to assemble. The batteries were powerful enough to run 60 minutes and do my .3 acres of lawn. The unit is light weight, easy to store and get 'leaf blower cleaned by easy tipping on its side. It cuts comparable to my Toro. NO carburetor, no gas filter to clog, no air filter, no carbon monoxide belching front of me and besides the blades, no maintenance to perform!!! The mulcher is good but if you are bagging the bag is too small for my size yard. Now we will see how well it holds up especially the batteries which have a four year warranty.

Great mower!

Just got this and did my first mow today. Did a great job and the yard looks great! Only concern is that both batteries did not last long enough to finish my yard. Had one strip of grass left to mow.

Bad Girst Impression

Mower arrived, without notification, in a crushed box with some tears and holes in it. The box was retaped. I don't lnow of it left Greenworks in that condition or was damaged on the shipping process.
I checked the mower for damage. Other than multiple scratches, scuffs, and dirty battery covers, the mower seems dent-free.
I put on the handles, charged the batteries to fuil charge and mowed my lawn. The mower seems to work OK, but the 4ah battery was drained after 15-minutes and the mower then switched to the 2ah battery. I am wondering if the 4ah battery is defective. Fifteen minutes of mow time is unacceptable for a fully charged 4ah battery.
I am disappointed in the condition of the box and mower upon delivery. I am concerned about the under-performing 4ah battery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this mower several times i really enjoy it. The ease of use is wonderful. Also a bonus is extra battery. It works perfect for my small yard, but if your yard is larger the extra battery is a plus! The item is pricey, but you will love it!
