I bought this 3 months ago because I was tired of having to go buy gas for my mower. My son recommended this to me and he was thrilled with his. It runs smooth and is much quieter than my old gas mower. It’s easy to clean as well. Highest marks!
This mower is great. Super easy to handle. Quiet and the battery last a long time. Switched from gas mower and I will never go back. Electric all the way
I bought this mower 2 months ago and love how clean and easy to use it is. It was easy to assemble, then charge the batteries and go. Very quiet for use in a residential community. No gas or exhaust or frequent maintenance. Cuts the lawn quickly and easily at whatever height is selected. No more difficult to turn than other push mowers. Able to mow close to the edges so very little trimming needs done.
Have had the PRO 60v 25 INCH DECK FOR THREE WEEKS NOW, USED IT TWICE, VERY WELL PLEASED WITH IT, THE LIGHT WEIGHT MAKES IT EASY TO USE. I BAG WHEN MOWING AND CLIPPINGS ARE VERY FINE, AND THE CUT QUALITY IS JUST AS GOOD AS MY GAS POWER MOWER I USED OR BETTER.THIS IS THE FRIST BATTERY POWER MOWER THAT I HAVE USED,LIKE THE FACT YOU PUT IN THE BATTERY OR BATTERYS AND GO. HAVE HAD NO ISSUES WITH MOWER OR BATTERYS, THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT IS VERY VERY WELL MADE. AND THE CONTROLS ARE EASY TO USE,AND THE SELF PROPELL WORKS NICE AS WELL TOO.LIKE AND WOULD RECCOMMEND IT. THANKS GREEN WORKS FOR A QUALITY MOWER.
I bought this mower based on ads and reviews. I was tired of fighting with my old mower just to mow my lawn. All I read about this mower is true. It is truly self-propelled. I can set the speed from a stroll to getting in some exercise. I cuts great with the dual blades and I LOVE the 25" swath it cuts. It is much quieter then the old mower and has lived up to the promises. I was on the verge of shelling out for a riding mower, but no longer. I am now looking over their ads for other tools. I.Am. Sold!
I just bought this model for the new home I just moved into. I let my lawn grow a little overgrown waiting for this mower to be delivered. But once it arrived, it powered through my lawn (1/3 acre) with no problems at all.
I like that has the widest cutting deck of any electric mower on the market (that I know of).
The two included batteries were both almost empty by the time I finished my lawn, so these batteries together are enough for about 1/3 of an acre, maybe a little bit more. Greenworks sells individual batteries in larger capacities, so you could get larger batteries if your lawn is larger.
Setup is easy. When you open the box, you just have to attach the two handles, screw one bolt into each handle, charge the batteries, then plug the batteries in. That's it. No other assembly required. At some point in the future, you presumably have to sharpen or replace the blades.
It's also easy to switch between the mulcher and the bag.
I cannot comment on the long-term durability, since I hadn't owned it long enough. But so far, it's been easy to use, quiet, convenient, and less messy than a gas mower.
