I have used the 25 inch mower in central Florida for 4 years now, and it has performed well. Sometimes the wheels lock when backing up, but it quickly resolves when I move forward a few inches. I mow 1/3 of an acre and have never had an inadequate supply of power. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this mower again if I needed to. Plus, the wider deck enables me to make 20% fewer passes. It handles tall grass also.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful

WIDE CUTTING WIDTH BUT SMALL GRASS CATCHER!!!???

I've been using this for 2 weeks and one of my complaints is the size of catcher. It's much too small for a 25 inch cutting width. The manufacturer's box states that it comes with set of high lift blades which is untrue. The extra blades are identical in size, shape and part number. The mulching capability is not good due to the clippings are not fine enough. Supposedly the high-blades will do a better job but as I stated above, none was provided. The batteries do hold a very good charge and the motor is pretty light and east to use.
Pros: Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Powerful
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very good battery powered mower

This is the 3rd year of owning this unit. It does a very good job on my yard which is level and about 30' by 40' on the front and 25' by 30' on the back yard. The grass is mostly Floratam (centipede variant) and some sections have Bermuda grass. The 25" cutting swath allows you to put the wheels on the edge of the last cut and still have good coverage. It is definitely noticeable in the amount of time to cut the yard over a 21" or 22" mower. Here are what I consider pros and cons.
Pro: Quiet, good cutting, good run time with the two 4.0 ah batteries and the most important has been the reliability I have had with this mower.
Con: The slowest self propelled speed should be slightly slower. The adjustable handlebar height should have a little more options on height adjustment. The unit has back wheel drive and so that tends to allow the front to raise right as you start as the unit appears to be heavier on the back side. Lastly, it would help in weight distribution and also turning ability to have castering wheels on the front.
Pro: Quiet, good cutting, good run time with the two 4.0 ah batteries and the most important has been the reliability I have had with this mower.

I talked to a neighbor into buying one after letting him borrow mine. He had two units that had problems but customer service definitely took care of him. This 3rd unit has been owned for a year is performing like mine

Great but…….

Really wanted to love this mower. But every time I use it after about 15 mini Itex it beeps 3 times and stops. I can either stop and wait minutes or open the battery port and press the battery button and then it will start again. This is very annoying when you have over an hours worth of cutting to do.
Pros: Quiet, Environmentally Safe
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ok lawn mower

I've had this lawn mower for more than a year and the only plus is I don't have to use gas. The negatives of this lawn mower are I'm not able to use the lower height setting. It constantly clogs, stops and grass clippings get the blades stuck, usually at the 4 height setting or less. Batteries do drain quicker especially with the previous issues listed. The components are plastic and cheaply made. The extra blade that was provided, which is for extreme conditions is not so great for the so called extreme conditions. It's similar to the regular blades.
I'm in the process of purchasing a riding mower, but am considering a different brand instead of going for another Green works product.
