Mower works great, love the turbo setting and the width. Only issues I’ve had so far is when trying to reverse after releasing the assistant Drive lever the back wheels lock and I have to manually push it forward to push it back. Also when it switches from one battery to the other the motor kind of freaks out and goes really fast for a couple seconds.

The mower cuts pretty well, even at full speed. The wide deck makes mowing faster. I can finish my lawn (which is about 0.4 acres) while mulching in about 45 minutes using the capacity of about one 4.0Ah battery. It's relatively quiet and easy to control/handle. My only minor complaint is the amount of suction. Even with the high lift blades installed, it doesn't reliable suck up the grass that is lying on it's side so that it gets cut. It would be nice if there were some "ultra" high lift blades available.

Great mower. Lightweight and quiet compared to my old gas mower. Easy to use.

I’ve had this mower for 1 season and it’s just not worth. To get a clean cut without missing any blades, I have to go over the lawn twice on turbo. I’ve sharpened the blades 4 times at different angles and levels of sharpness but the outcome is the same… cut the lawn twice. It also seems to tear the grass after the first cut with freshly sharpened blades. I’m not an engineer but it seems to me the motor rpms aren’t high enough to compensate for the blades being so short, so the blade edge is moving much slower than a gas mower running at similar rpms with a 21 inch blade.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Dan H,
Thank you for your review. We are very sorry to hear about this experience! When the lawn is being cut uneven, this can indicate a few different things. The first being that the lawn itself is rough or uneven. However, if this is not the case then it is possible that the grass is too tall, or the cutting height is set too low for the type of grass. Try raising the cutting height and reduce walking speed in order to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months. If you have tried these suggestions, try having a look underneath of the mower deck and ensure that there has been no damage to the motor shaft, fan, blade, blade washer/insulator or the bolt. If any of these parts have been damaged or thrown off balance this will result in an even cut and likely, a noticeable vibration while in use. Should you require further assistance, please contact Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934.

Used my new mower for about a month and could not be happier! My mow-able yard is just over a half acre and the it has worked great each time...in fact I do not believe it has switched to the second battery yet and I use the self-propel about 80% of the time.
