This mower does an excellent job of cutting my lawn. I have a large area to cover-it takes me about an hour and twenty minutes-and I can do all of it without having to stop for dead batteries. In fact, I have enough power left after the grass to weed wack as well. It’s much lighter than a gas mower so the tough areas on the small hills, around bushes and the like is so much easier to do than with my previous gas mowers. It’s a two second task to change the height of the mower. This mower is easy and actually enjoyable to use, I’m never going back to a gas mower and I intend to expand my outside tool collection with more excellent greenworks tools. Thank you, greenworks!

no major complaints, very powerful up hills, easy height adjust and handles taller grass like a gas unit. My only (minor) issue is with the direct drive if you are mowing up hill you need to get off the self propelled paddle while still moving up, it stays engaged and does not release to let gravity assist back down the hill with out another push up hill, very minor usage quirk. Batteries are unreal how long they last, I have yet to have it switch over to battery #2 and my lawn would use a tank of gas on the 25" powered gas unit to finish, speechless. Satisfied++

We are sorry to hear that the unit has not fully met your expectations in terms of power. On your next mow, please utilize the following tips to help achieve a cleaner cut.
1) When cutting thick grass, reduce walking speed in order to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings.
2) Only mow 1/3 of the total grass length at a time - no more. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months.
3) Mow when the grass is dry. As this is an electric unit, mowing wet/damp grass is a safety issue. However, ensuring the grass is dry will also help the grass cut cleanly and discharge appropriately. Wet/damp grass carries more weight and will mostly stick to the blade/motor shaft and will not appropriately discharge or cut easily.
4) Make sure the battery is cool before use. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging.
