I have enjoyed using this mower and has helped cut down the time it takes to complete this chore. It maneuvers well over all sorts of terrain, including hills (I live in the mountains of North Georgia)! The only thing you have to anticipate is the self-propelled aspect. It’s a slight learning curve but you have to disengage the drive in order to turn around at the end of the strip of grass. The reason you have to do this has to do with the wheels temporarily locking after you disengage. If you try to turn during this time, you will get resistance.
Aside from that nothing that I can complain about. The batteries (2) charge completely in just over an hour. I cut approximately 5/8 of an acre and I only have to charge my batteries one other time. Well worth the money!
Great mower but I only gave it four stars because it came dented in two spots. The one was in the handle where you have to slide the two pieces together. I had to bend the metal a little to assemble the handle. One thing that I don't like is the plastic clips you have to push to get the batteries out. I can see this part breaking very easily. I hope I am wrong. Other than that I love the mower.
Thought I'd tryout a Battery Mower since I'd given my son my old Honda. In the first month of owning it, the mower has run great. Battery life isn't an issue with my year. As of now, I'd recommend getting one if you only need to mow for an hour as that's the states time the batteries last.
First, it’s quiet. What a joy that is. Second, it’s easy to store standing up so value garage space is conserved. Finally, I’m able to cut my 12-14k square foot yard on one charge of the two batteries. And it cuts well. All the boxes are checked. Very pleased with purchase.
