This mower is great. I have a 1/3 acre lot with a hill in my backyard. I have plenty of battery to do the whole yard and more. With one battery, I can cut 90% of my yard with the mower. It seamlessly cuts over to the 2nd battery to finish up. Then I use that battery to edge, trim, and blow everything off with my other 60v tools. It's great. No more gas!!!

This is very nearly the perfect lawnmower. it should be possible to pull the mower backwards and it would be nice to be able to charge the batteries in the mower.

Wide Mower Review

I purchased this mower about one month ago. Overall a good mower and worth its value. However, there is no side shoot. Due to this, you have to use the bag feature or the mower gets clogged within two passes. If you are not a bag person I would not buy this mower. If you are a bag person it is a fantastic mower.

Hello Nick from PA,
Happy to hear you are enjoying the product and are glad you had some pros and cons to share with us. We use information like this and work with the various teams within Greenworks to market, design, and sell the products are customers want or need. We would love to offer some tips to help care for the tool and accessories. For best storage practice the lawn mower should be stored somewhere dry and protected from the elements, such as a garage or shed. If you have no other choice but to store it outside, keep it elevated above the ground and covered with a durable tarp. When the battery will not be in use, store it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. Store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we recommend charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive the most of the battery life. If it ends up that you are having an issue with the lawn mower, please contact Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934, and they would be happy to assist you further in remedying an issue. Thank you for choosing Greenworks Tools for your lawn care needs!

1st mower arrived damaged, GW did a great job getting me another one. My only complaint would be controlling speed is slightly erratic. Rear discharge makes trimming around obstacles a ton easier. No wires or cables exposed on handles. I give it a solid "A"!

So far so good. Haven't been using the self propel feature yet to preserve battery life. Have mowed lawn twice (roughly half acre or so) and still had one full battery left.

Great tool. Almost cuts my 1/2 acre lot on one battery.

Cuts very favorably compared to my Honda gas 21". Plenty of battery for my 1/2 acre...almost do it with one battery. Only minus is that the wheels crush my grass so much that when they rebound it makes the lawn look a little uneven. Can take advantage of the 25" cut, and recut the wheel area though and that works OK.

Purchased about a month ago and have mowed the lawn approx 6 or 7 times mower works beyond my expectations. I made the mistake of purchasing 2 additional batteries that. I thought I would need to mow my entire lawn. Much to my surprise the mower only goes through only 1.5 battery usage.. time will tell longevity of unit. But for now it gets an a++++

I bought this mower after reading reviews and checking the other options on the market. I like the extra width that you get with 2 blades. Everyrhing out of the box was as it should be. Quick set up with just a couple bolts. I have .86 acre lot with lots of trees. I've cut the entire lawn twice. I took 1.5 batteries to finish. The switch over process between batteries was seamless and I kept on going. Handles the grass just fine and picked up some leaves as well. I used the blades that came with it. I haven't tried the high powered mulching blades yet. But the trimmings weren't noticeable. I have some decent terrain change from front to back yard, and the self propelled handled it just fine. This mower is quite a bit lighter than a conventional gas powered mower. it's easier to handle. You just have to wait a couple seconds after releasing the self propelled before you can pull it backwards. No big deal once you know. It's also so much quieter than a normal mower, too. No noise pollution. No gas fumes. Easy and compact to store in a smaller space with the folding handle. Looking forward to years of use.
