60V self propelled Greenworks mower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 25 yr old Honda mower finally mowed it's last blade of grass. Would have been happy to buy another Honda, but Calif has outlawed gas powered lawn equipment!
Was very hesitant going to electric, but had little legal options. After research and comparing prices, decided on the 60V Greenworks mower.
Have only used it a couple of times on my large overgrown lawn, but so far I'm very impressed. Quiet, easy to maneuver, I'm 72, and battery charge lasts. Happy with mower so far. Will it last as long as my old Honda, time will tell.
Not sure about warranty though. While researching I'm sure I read something about 4 years mower and battery, which was a selling point for me. However the home page states only 90 days? Can I get clarification on warranty?

Greenworks are too cheap to include the tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Print is so small on the installation paperwork! You included screws but no clue size of the thing I need to tighten it! I can’t pull the handlebars up unless I loosen the bolts and again, no thing to untighten it! I haven’t used the machine yet because I can’t bring the handlebars up!

Great Mower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The self propelling capability is making mowing too easy. Our yard is not large but with our prior mower, we always have to go to the 2nd battery to complete the job. With this greenworks setup, a single battery can complete the whole job!

First battery operated mower for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mower to use on my small yard in the city. Was concerned that it would not cut the first tall grass of the season, which was probably 8” high. Mower did a good job without getting bogged down. I did go over each pass twice (once forwards and once pulling backwards) to minimize grass that just got pushed over on the first pass. Used mulch setting and cleaned out under the mower halfway through. The 2 batteries completed my lawn with turbo mode activated the whole time and the self propelled feature activated about half the time. Probably mowed about 40-45 minutes in total in very tall grass, so mower was really having to work. So far I am very pleased with the simple push button start, the ability to fold the mower for storage, and the ease of assembly out of the box. Mower was pricey, but I got it on sale and am pleased with it overall. The only negative is that there is more push over of the grass than with my gas powered mower, but I can live with that so long as I don’t have the hassle of gas and a pull string starter. It’s also a lot quieter than my gas mower.
